The J1025 Ascend jacket is a running specific piece of apparel that applies a function first design ethos. By breaking the garment down into performance needs, and applying the appropriate material and design lines needed to perform at the highest level, I created a garment without any pre-conveived ideas of the silhouette or aesthetic. The woven front provides protection from the wind, the open meshes and batwing construction to the back provides ventilation and freedom of movement, the knit material to the forearms provides warmth and compression, and the zoned ventilation keeps you warm and cool where you need to be. The use of the signature David Clark LinkNet provides increased movement and ventilation, reduced bunching, and protection against wind abrasion and chills.
